Clinical Psychology

The Department of Psychology and Sociology now offers a minor in clinical psychology. We are one of the first departments to offer this minor program of study across the entire southeastern region. Coursework for this minor introduces students to a variety of practical and applied issues that impact the field of clinical psychology, including psychological disorders, diagnostic methods, evidenced-based treatments, research literacy, and mental healthcare. The minor also prepares students for graduate study in clinical psychology or other work in the areas of mental health, counseling, social work, and health sciences.

Additional details on these course requirements are described in the UNA Catalog.
